Service Agreement
I hereby authorize repair and commissioning work to be done, along with any installation or utilization of material and grant to Island Yacht Sales and Management, its employees and/or agents, operation of my boat for the purpose of its launching, testing, inspection, and/or delivery.
An express mechanic's lien is acknowledged on the boat to secure the amount of repairs and materials. Island Yacht Sales and Management is hereby authorized to apply accumulated charges to the credit card information below or customer's MC.
The factory warranty constitutes all warranties with respect to the sale of parts and accessories. Island Yacht Sales and Management hereby disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The marina neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with this work and parts and accessories.
I have insurance on my boat covering fire loss, etc. I have read all the terms and notes of this service agreement. Due to strict EPA, State, Park, and Marina regulations, all sanding and bottom painting will be done by Liberty Landing Marina.
In the event it becomes necessary for the marina to retain the services of an attorney to secure the amount of repairs and materials, the owner agrees to pay any and all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by the marina in addition to repair bills.
- Special orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable.
- All electrical parts are non-returnable.
- There is a 25% restocking fee on all non-electrical parts that are returned in their original box and in sellable condition within one day of purchase.
- 1No work will be done without a signed service agreement and credit card information.
- 2There is a one-hour minimum charge.
- 3Labor Rate: $205.00 per hour.
- 4 Daily storage and/or dockage fees will be applied to vessels not picked up within 48 hours upon completion of work. Slip holders' vessels not picked up within 48 hours of completion of work will be returned to their slips at current rates.
- 5All balances must be paid in full prior to launch.
- 6Any work conducted during non-business hours is subject to overtime rates.
- 7All work orders are subject to Shop Supply Charges and Environmental Fees.
- 8 All service work done must go through the Service office. No outside work is allowed to be contracted.
No work will be scheduled without credit card information
Credit Card Surcharge: A 3.5% surcharge will be applied to all credit card transactions. We encourage other payment methods such as cash, check, ACH payment, debit card, or wire transfer, as these payment methods will not be subject to the credit card surcharge.
